When you push your hips back, you put yourself in the position of a chair, like you are sitting. Make sure your hips go back as far as possible. Return to the initial or start position by pushing your glutes, hamstrings and quadriceps. Don&#8217;t do this workout fast, do it slowly and smooth.</p>
<p><strong>Elevated Pushups -5 Repetitions Each Side</strong></p>
<p>With this exercise, you need to use an aerobic step. These are regular pushups but elevated to give you the maximum results.Keep your body in a straight position from the knees to the shoulders on a flat floor. Place the left hand on the ground and the other hand higher on top of the aerobic step. Your hands should be a little bit wider than your shoulder width apart. Lower your whole body down to about 2 inches off the ground. Push through the chest, your shoulders and triceps to return to the initial position. Make sure that your body is straight when you are performing this exercise at all times. Repeat with the other arm using the aerobic step after you have done all the required repetitions with the other arm elevated.</p>
<p><strong>Quadriceps Stretch</strong></p>
<p>You start this exercise by laying on your right side on a flat surface. Always make sure that the surface in which you are performing these exercises is flat, debris free and nothing is around to cause any injuries. Bring your left ankle back to your buttocks and hold it with your left hand. Keep the knee in line with the hip. When you are in this position, the stretch will be in front of your left leg. You will need to hold for 25 to 35 seconds. After you finish with one side, repeat with the other side too.</p>

<p>Today we will be talking about which is best for belly fat loss: ab crunches or full body exercises. To do that we must talk about two principles; the first principle comes from physics and it is known as work. Work equals force times distance.</p>
<p>The second concept I want you to understand is that for roughly every liter of oxygen you consume, you will burn approximately 5 calories.</p>
<p>We are going to use 2 examples to illustrate this.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s look at the ball crunch or an abdominal crunch on the floor. When you think of work in the equation, think about calorie and energy expenditure. It is safe to assume that you will cover a distance of one foot while doing a ball crunch. When you extend around the ball and finish in somewhat of a seated position, that distance represents one foot in our example. I am going to assume the weight you are moving is 40 pounds, considering you are only moving your upper body.</p>
<p>That means that the work being done is approximately 40 lbs x 1 foot. Usually you would measure this in Newtons and metres in physics but I am going to make this easy to understand by using lbs and ft. So 40 lbs is the force and 1 foot is the distance which gives us 40 &quot;Newton meters&quot;. I have fudged the data, but you get the idea.</p>
<p>Now, let&#8217;s look at the example of a full body exercise such as a clean press. You start with the weights at floor level and end with them pushed above your head. It is an Olympic-type movement and I use a lot of them in my workouts.</p>
<p>In this case, let&#8217;s say that we have 2 dumbells that are 25 lbs each and therefore a total weight of 50 lbs. This time the distance the person is covering is 7 feet. We are going to assume you are six feet tall in this example. The total distance from the floor to where you push the weights is 7 feet. This is where things get really interesting.</p>
<p>If we process the equation, we have 50 lbs x 7 feet which gives us a grand total of 350 Nm.</p>
<p>Look at the difference!</p>
<p>A crunch gives us 40 while a clean press gives us 350. If these numbers represent energy expenditure over time, which one would you rather do if we are talking about burning maximum calories? How much work you do will determine how many calories you burn. Would you rather do 350 or 40?</p>
<p>A lot of people want to know how to get a six-pack without the pain and without the hard work. Well, you can&#8217;t. That is the reality unless you are genetically gifted. You cannot get around strength training and cardio and eating healthily. Abdominal belts, sauna belts, and little abdominal movements do not work because of the work factor; because of this basic equation. Hard work is how it works.</p>
<p>The second component to this is that for every liter of oxygen you consume you burn 5 calories. In this case, because you are getting a lot of muscle involved you will need more oxygen to fuel the movement.</p>
<p>In this type of full body movement you are going to get a lot more oxygen in your body which means that you are going to burn a lot more calories during your workout. You will get the immediate benefits of huffing and puffing. That is a good sign and it means you are doing something fabulous for your body. You immediately know that you are doing more good for your body than when performing ab crunches. Don&#8217;t forget that because you are getting more muscle involved, you are gaining more strength overall.</p>
<p>Abdominal crunches get you nothing. You are training your rectus abdominis muscle and that is it. There is very little energy expenditure when you do crunches. I have seen people spend hours in the gym doing crunches while talking and reading and that is just ridiculous.</p>
<p>If you are doing that, you are not going to see results and you are wasting precious hours of your life in the gym! Conversely, a workout where you are unable o talk to someone else because you are huffing and puffing is going to produce results. That is what&#8217;s going to burn calories and that is what&#8217;s going to get you strong to fuel your metabolism for the long run.</p>
<p>Can you get a six pack by doing ab crunches? The answer is absolutely not. You are only training your abdominals which means that you are going to get stronger abdominals but you are not going to see them because you are not burning fat.</p>
<p>It comes down to full-body movements because you are able to do more work which is going to burn more calories. You are using more force and heavier weights over a greater distance than you would using the abdominal crunch when you do those full-body exercises.</p>
<p>When you get more muscle involved you will burn more calories because you are getting more oxygen into your body. That is what I have to say about this topic! It requires hard work, diligence, and a commitment to eating well. That is my answer and I hope you take it to heart and start applying it today.</p>

Green tea supplements help ensure that fat is burned by the fat cell itself, so it takes less effort to lose weight.</p>
<p>Green tea supplements provide maximum benefit for burning belly fat. It takes the equivalent of the antioxidant catechins provided by 30 to 40 cups of green tea a day to have a weight loss effect-and even if you could drink that much green tea, you would spend your whole life in the bathroom.</p>
<p>What you need is a green supplement providing at least 1,500 mg of catechins along with 300 mg of caffeine every day. The caffeine is essential for fat burning, although it&#8217;s not necessary for maintaining weight loss. Drinking a lot of coffee (more than 2 cups a day) or other caffeinated beverages in addition to taking green tea supplements will cancel out their effects.</p>
<p>2. HCA, a tropical fruit supplement having the chemical name hydroxycitric acid, helps your belly reshape itself as you lose weight.</p>
<p>The real value of HCA isn&#8217;t in losing weight. Your diet and other supplements will do that. What HCA does is to break down the matrix that holds fat in place. It essentially allows your belly to flatten and your abdominal muscles to peak through. HCA does, however, have a modest weight loss benefit when you are on a reduced-calorie diet that includes carbs. It won&#8217;t help you lose weight if you are on Atkins or any other high-protein diet.</p>
<p>3. Alpha-lipoic acid is what the dermatologist might give you for toning up a sagging jaw line for curing bags beneath the eyes. Exactly how alpha-lipoic acid works is a matter of controversy, but it has a unique quality that makes it stand out from other antioxidants. It may also clear out white cells called macrophages that can bulk up the fat mass in your tummy. But it definitely helps you firm up fast.</p>
<p>Be sure you take both alpha-lipoic acid and a complete B supplement containing biotin. R-lipoic acid is more expensive but may give you quicker results.</p>
<p>4. Chromium helps burn fat, but you have to get the right kind of chromium. The more commonly marketed chromium picolinate may actually cause weight gain. The less commonly available chromium nicotinate accelerates weight loss when women exercise. Chromium and HCA are a great combination, one product to encourage fat burning, the other to encourage reshaping of the belly fat. <p>5. A fat blocker like Alli (orlistat) can help you lose belly fat, but there are limits on how well it works. If you are already on a low-fat diet, blocking fat isn&#8217;t going to do you a lot of good. Doing focused abs workouts will not help you burn away the stomach fat. In fact, it will postpone the results dramatically. The reason is twofold:</p>
<ol>
<li>You can&#8217;t burn belly fat by doing targeted exercises. It doesn&#8217;t work. We burn fat from areas of our body regardless of which body part we target.</li>
<li>Since you can&#8217;t burn belly fat with targeted exercise, you need to focus on the kind of exercises that burn the most fat. Unfortunately, stomach exercises are generally not really effective as far burners. There are other exercises that do better.</li>

<p><strong>2. Mountain Climbers </strong>- This is an exercise that combines cardio with strength. Assume a push-up position. Bend one knee and bring your leg forward on the floor as if you were climbing a mountain, only the face of the mountain is the floor.</p>
<p>Once you&#8217;re at this position you can begin. Alternate quickly between your legs, bringing the other forward while sending the first back and straightening it. It&#8217;s okay for your butt to rise during this exercise but don&#8217;t bend your back. Do this exercise quickly as possible until it wears you out. You should be sweating by now.</p>
<p><strong>3. Lunges by bicep curls -</strong> I love complex exercises since they burn more fat. In this exercise you hold a dumbbell in each hand. Do a lunge with arms straight down at the sides of your body. When you risk to the starting position, also do a bicep curl to complete the movement.</p>
